Jonathan Barney is an American politician serving as the 3rd Governor of the state of Yellowstone. A member of the Republican Party, he took office by appointment and was elected in the 2026 Special Election and later to a full term in the 2028 gubernatorial election. Barney also served as Lieutenant Governor of Yellowstone for a brief period in 2025 under Governor Fred Johnson, but was fired. He also ranks among the most unpopular governors due to his low activity.
