John Shake-Reed (Born 1980) is an American politician who is the 51st and current vice president of the United States. He is the first Indian-American Vice President and the only U.S Vice President to have been a member of all 3 major parties. He was elected to the United States House of Representatives as a Republican in 2022, and was re-elected by a landslide in 2024. He then served as Speaker of the House as a Democrat for much of 2025. He became Vice President after the resignation of Zach Fellman. He then switched parties from Democratic to Independent in 2026, while also holding Unity membership.
Shake's time in office has been marked by numerous controversies, such as ShakeGate and ShakeBidenGate, his approval rating currently ranges between 1%-20% and 70%-80% depending on media coverage. Shake has cheated on his wife with President Phil Reed numerous times, made deals with Hunter Biden, and shared sensitive Government info on a laptop.
Early life and career[]
John Shake was adopted by Jim and Clarisa Shake, he grew up in Oklahoma for much his childhood and graduated from University of Texas at Arlington. He was then elected to the Oklahoma City Council for 6 years, and then became Mayor for 12. During that time he met Pooja Shake, whom he would later marry in 2004.
House Tenure (2023-2025)[]
Shake was the first Indian member of Congress from Amarillo and as the first Indian Majority/Minority leader. Shake also served as the first Indian Speaker of the House, during his tenure he notably worked to create several Border Bills. Shake resigned to become Vice President in 2025, leaving Eli Goldstein as Speaker. He joined the Democratic Party midway through his 2nd term.
Vice presidency (2025–present)[]
John Shake became Vice President on November 28, 2025 and was the first indian Vice President, he was sworn in as a Democrat but became an independent after Phil Reed left the party. Shake also remains a member of the Unity Party.
During the 2026 Elections, Shake opposed John Payton for Amarillo Senate but did not take the seat. He then cast the tie-breaking vote for the Republican Party in the following tied Senate.
ShakeGate[]
During his tenure, Shake notably had sexual relations with the President. Even marrying him in a private wedding outside the capital. The Second Lady briefly took the kids to India, and seperated from Shake for a month. ShakeGate was broken by The Duberry Report, and was denyed in a Press Conference by President Reed. He then later retracted the denial and confessed to having affairs with over 16 men.

As Vice President, John Shake met with notorious son of Former President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden. The two worked out buisness deals and allegedly did cocaine together in the white house. The two have met together everyday for the past 7 months acourding to close sources.

John Shake married his wife, Poojah, in 2004 and has 4 kids, Druv, Deerav, Deepti, and Dhyan.
RNC Leadership[]
- In 2022 Mr. Shake was named Vice Chair after the winner. Former Speaker Andrew Reed decided he wanted something other than the job in leadership, instead wanting to focus on his bid to become a speaker. Mr. Shake then won re-election as Chair at the start of 2023, running unopposed.
- After the 2024 elections, David Calburn- the then RNC Chair, faced many allegations of costing the party the elections and attacking members. Mr. Shake announced his bid for RNC Chair once Calburn resigned. Shake announced he would put forward his 12-point plan to unite the party and end the drama.
- On election day, Mr. Shake made history as the first Hindu member to win RNC Chair as he was the projected winner, winning 81.8% to Fred Johnson’s 18.2%.
- As the current Chair, he has ended all drama and has geared the party to the 2025 and 2026 elections.
