Gears Braixen (born June 28, 1983) is an American politician who represents Concord's 2nd district in congress since 2027, he is also the incumbent Dean of the House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as Governor of Concord from 2025 to 2027 and as Mayor of Burlington from 2021 to 2025.
He ran for congress in 2022 losing by a very small margin, in 2024 he ran again but in Magnolia's 3rd district, winning the race unopposed, in 2025 he went for Concord Senate, loosing by a likely margin, and he later went on to sucessfully flip Concord's 2nd district. Gears Braixen is a lifelong Republican.
Early life (1983 - 2008)[]
Braixen was born in Burlington, Vermont from the Pokemon of Joe Thompson, an industrial worker, he was originally raised as a pet but quickly developed an interest into a human life and started learning to communicate and seeking to act more as a human, after the notable change in behavior Thompson started treating Braixen more as a son than a pet, formally filling the paperwork to legally recognize him as a kid, however, his application was rejected, despite this Braixen was accepted as a preschool student in a private school, remaining there for most of his education.
After some notable performances on school and evolving into Braixen at 12 years old, the government formally allowed Gears Braixen to be legally recognized as a human being, getting the same rights as any other person, he would remain on the same private school until finishing high school.
At 18 years old, he would be allowed into Clark University, studying the career of accountant, he was generally known for his lowkey behavior but also some passionate speeches, he would also generally join discussions about politics.
