The 2028 United States Senate election in Appalachia was held on November 3, 2028 to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the State of Appalachia. Florence Val-Valentine was elected in the 2022 election as a Democrat and shortly defected to the Republicans once he took office, he then died in office and was replaced with Republican Heidi Cruz. Cruz shortly switched to the Democratic Party, and then the Unity Party. She served for 3 years before resigning, Governor Ian Washington appointed Republican Dr. Beluga in her place, who opted to not run for a full term.

Republican Melanie Grant was the first to announce her campaign, but dropped out shortly after. There was speculation that Unity Cascade Senator Thomas Duberry would run for the seat, he filed the needed paperwork but declined the candidacy.

Former President Martha Holley won the Democratic Nomination and defeated Unity Party candidate Malan Athos, who was endorsed by the South Carolina Nationalist Party and the Communist Party.
