The 2026 United States gubernatorial elections were held on November 3, 2026, in 4 states regular elections were held while in 1 a special election was held. The elections took place concurrently with the elections to the House of Representatives and Senate.
After the elections, the Republican Party maintained 5 states, with them gaining Chesapeake but loosing Erie to the Unity Party, the Unity Party became the second biggest with 2 governorships by gaining Erie from the Republicans and Cascade from the Democrats, and the Democratic Party lost both of its states, only leaving them with Amarillo.
