The 2026 United States Senate election in Cascade was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Incumbent one-term Senator Elizabeth Coin resigned, State Rep. Vera Kapetanovic was appointed to the seat. Kapetanovic then resigned as well after a few days. Finally, Congressman Thomas Duberry was appointed to the seat.

Duberry returned, but was opposed by Coin, who announced her candidacy shortly before the filing deadline. Duberry managed to defeat Coin in the Democratic Party Primary by a margin of 51%-49% and defeated her in the general election in a landslide, winning 61% of the vote in a slight upset.

Senator Elizabeth Coin retired after less than a year, forcing Cascade Democratic Party State Chair, Thomas Duberry to appoint a new Senator. Duberry appointed Socialist activist and State Representative, Vera Kapetanovic, who was considered controversial.

Thomas Duberry won the Democratic Party's nomination by a margin of 51%-49%, despite being a member of the Unity Party. He was opposed by former Senator Elizabeth Coin, who had resigned from the seat a few months prior. There were instances of voter fraud, with the vast majority going to Coin.

During the campaign, there was a fight in the city of San Francisco where both candidates held rallies at the same time. An Asian man supporting Duberry and a White woman supporting Coin were both sent to the hospital. They both sustained minor injuries and survived. Duberry and Coin condemed the fights.
