The 2026 United States Senate election in Erie was held on November 3, 2026, to elect the U.S. Senator from Erie. Incumbent Democratic Senator NPC Democrat opted to retire instead of seeking another term.
Politician Josh Smith originally won the Democratic nomination, however, due to a scandal regarding the use of Chat GPT, a fine for it and a tightening he dropped out of the race, later former U.S. Representative Claire Swift would end up taking the Democratic nomination, Politician Dr. Begula won the Republican nomination. On election night, in what was considered an upset, Claire Swift would end up narrowly defeating Dr. Begula.
