The 2026 United States Senate election in Amarillo was held on November 3, 2026, to elect the U.S. Senator from Amarillo. Incumbent Republican Senator NPC Republican opted to retire instead of seeking another term.
Politician John Payton won the Republican nomination, Governor Connor McKinley won the Democratic nomination, and Kevin Hansen won the Libertarian nomination, aditionally, Vice President John Shake ran as an independent. Despite Connor McKinley being the Democratic nominee due to his perceived innactivity the Democratic Party backed instead the independent candidacy of John Shake.
On election night, John Shake would defeat Republican John Payton by a lean margin.
