Campaign[]

Originally, incumbent Joey Samuel only faced fringe opposition from democrats, which were U.S. Representative Jesse Ocassio-Cortez and citizen Larz Aralica. During the democratic primary, Jesse Ocassio-Cortez formally dropped out of the race instead running for Cascade 1st, as such Larz Aralica became the candidate by default, although results of it showed Jesse leading Aralica.

After the primaries, Senator Kobe Warnock decided to fill a run against Joey Samuel, most likely motivated by general dislike of the Democratic Party towards him, however, due to the late filling he had to run as an independent, the DNC voted to back him ofer Democratic nominee Larz Aralica, the election was expected to be close. Later, multiple GOP PACs started funding the race, mainly the Conservative Political Action Committee and the Majority Cmte PAC, as such giving Samuel a lead on spending.

On Election Night, Joey Samuel won with a surprising 51.8% of the vote over Warnock's 37% and Aralica's 8.3%, handing him a victory with a margin of 14.8%.
