The 2026 Chesapeake gubernatorial election was held on November 3, 2026, to elect the governor of Chesapeake. Incumbent Democratic Governor Jake McGee was elegible to run for another term, but opted to retire.
Politician Nancy Pelosi won the Democratic nomination, Businessman Jacob Stopper won the Republican nomination and Incumbent President Phil Reed launched a Write-In campaign as an independent. On election night, Jacob Stopper would narrowly defeat Nancy Pelosi.
