2026 Cascade gubernatorial election

The 2026 Cascade gubernatorial election was held on November 3, 2026, to elect the governor of Cascade. Incumbent Democratic Governor Jaymeson Woods was elegible to run for another term, but opted to retire instead.

Politician Joseph Abe won the Republican nomination, and Sen. Heidi Cruz won the Unity nomination, aditionally Cruz got the Democratic endorsement. On the general election, Heidi Cruz would end up defeating Joseph Abe by a safe margin. Unlike what was expected, Cruz actually went to take office and resign as Senator of Appalachia, being appointed in her place Dr. Begula.
