The 2022 United States Senate elections were held on November 8, 2022, with the 5 seats in Senate Class 1 being contested in regular elections. The winners were elected to six-year terms from January 3, 2023 to January 3, 2029. The elections took place concurrently with the elections to the House of Representatives and Senate.
After the elections, the Democratic Party gained control of the chamber, Democrats gained 4 seats while the Republicans gained just 1 seat.
Martha Holley was elected Senate Majority Leader while Tommy Larson became the Senate Minority Leader.
